More About Kentmorr Residents

There are 14 properties along the south side of Kentmorr Airport. The residents own the airport and maintain it for their own use and for use by the general aviation public. The airport isn't fancy, so that mostly means mowing the grass. We are committed to keeping the airport open to the public.

Most of the residents own airplanes and several build or restore airplanes. There are all sorts of interesting aircraft in various stages of assembly on the field. Some of the residents have worked at the Paul E. Garber Restoration Facility, restoring Betty Skelton's Little Stinker, among others. You can see the Little Stinker at the Smithsonian Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center at Dulles. One of the residents is a docent at both Smithsonian Air and Space museums, and would be happy to arrange a tour (contact the Webmaster for details).

We are a friendly group and always enjoy meeting new aviation enthusiasts. We host a picnic each fall for the whole neighborhood to get to know our neighbors better and to take them for rides in our airplanes.
